John Jacobs:
Stay Seen

'Stay Seen' blurs the line between a brand and product film, for luxury eyewear brand John Jacobs. A range of scenarios, from '60 going on 16', to 'safe spaces', to 'divorce party', established the brand beyond the product, to an enabler of being truly seen and celebrated as you are.

The film was complemented by a gallery of stills to further build the John Jacobs visual universe and propagate the film across a mix of channels. As the only art director present for the shoot, I had the opportunity to complement the overall vision - while we had our share of fantastical sets, we also wanted the frames to feel uninhibited. Design decisions such as a slight grain, spontaneous camera angles, and no airbrushing helped us establish the balance between aspirational and authentic.
